Nic Voges joined as Shell Foundation’s Chief Financial & Operating Officer in October 2025 and heads up all aspects of our corporate resources whilst sponsoring key parts of our impact strategy and sitting as a permanent member of our Funding Approvals Committee.
Prior to this role, Nic developed broad experience in developing markets. Qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in South Africa, gaining extensive emerging market experience while working in the audit profession relocating to the UK in 2010. His clients ranged from local entities of major multinationals, to SMEs in pharmaceuticals, biotech, technology, property development, audits on behalf of USAID in Angola, as well as for the South African government/Universities.
After moving to the UK, Nic held a number of Corporate Controllership roles at Shell plc, where he also qualified as a Corporate Treasurer, gaining extensive experience in finance, risk, transactions, capital markets, organisation transformation, IT and change and risk management.
